Mother Sparsh Plans to Raise $100,000,000 in Series B

Premium brand of mother and child care Mother Sparsh announced that it is nearing an agreement to raise Rs 90–100 crore in Series B finance, with an additional Rs 13.5 crore coming from ITC Limited, a global FMCG conglomerate.

Mother Sparsh is a premium ayurvedic and natural personal care start-up in the D2C space, focusing on mother and baby care segments. Mother Sparsh is amongst the leading players in the baby care market, having introduced in the past a slew of innovative offerings, such as India’s first 99 percent pure water unscented and biodegradable wipes as well as a Plant-Powered range of personal care products for babies.

While announcing the Series B funding round with multiple investors partaking, the leading D2C homegrown baby care brand said that it intends to enhance its portfolio significantly, especially across baby skin care and mother-oriented segments. In fact, the brand boasts of a strong client retention rate, up to over 50% on its website, thanks to its exceptional portfolio.

Mother Sparsh is a powerful D2C brand that sells most of its products online, including through its own website. It provides a variety of personalised personal care products for moms, children, and infants. The upscale newborn and mother care company had received Series A funding from ITC Limited in November of the previous year, which was less than a year ago.
