Dr. Vardhan said the most important principle is to follow basic principles of hygiene and physical distancing. He said mask and sanitizer are the biggest weapons in the fight against COVID.

Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan distributed masks and soaps at the Old Delhi Railway Station today. Emphasizing the importance of wearing a Mask and washing of hands, Dr. Vardhan said the most important principle is to follow basic principles of hygiene and physical distancing.

He said mask and sanitizer are the biggest weapons in the fight against COVID.
 

Speaking on the COVID situation in India, Dr. Vardhan highlighted the progress in COVID parameters. He said India has one of the highest recovery rates in the whole world. From one lab in January this year, the country now has 2165 labs.

He said more than a million people are being tested on a daily basis. He added that this all shows the determination of the government and the relentless efforts of corona warriors whose contribution is significant in fighting the pandemic.
