In Maharashtra, 4,382 new COVID-19 cases were reported today, taking the cumulative total to 19,53,554.

In Maharashtra, 4,382 new COVID-19 cases were reported today, taking the cumulative total to 19,53,554.
 
According to the State health department, 66 deaths were reported in the state taking the tally of deceased to 49,825. Case Fatality Rate in the State is 2.55 percent.
 

On the other hand, 2,570 patients were discharged today taking the tally of recovered patients to 18,52,759. The recovery rate of the State now stands at 94.79 percent.
 
As of today, there are 50,808 active cases in the State.


Out of 1,31,34,019 laboratory samples, 19,54,553 have been tested positive (14.88 per cent) for COVID-19 until today. 

Currently, 2,33,875 people are in-home quarantine and 2,523 people are in institutional quarantine.
