Hospital superintendent Dr H L Meena on Wednesday said, “After investigating, we have found that all the 10 deaths were normal and did not die because of negligence.” As per the report, the investigation committee had found that the 10 children who died in the last 48 hours were in extremely critical condition and needed ventilator support.

Defending the deaths, hospital's head of Paedriatics ,Mr Amrit Lal Bairwa said,"According to NICU records 20% death is accpetable while percentage here is around 10% to 15%"."
