Shivraj Singh Chouhan appealed to all colleagues and individuals "who has come in contact with me to get their coronavirus test done"

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, 61, has tried positive for the novel coronavirus, it was affirmed Saturday evening. He has been admitted to the Chirayu Hospital in the state capital Bhopal.

"My dear comrades, I was having COVID-19 side effects and, after a test, my report returned positive. I am following all the rules and will isolate myself as per the specialist's recommendation," the Chief Minister composed on Twitter.

He additionally spoke to partners and people to play it safe to stay away from contamination and asked the individuals who had interacted with him to complete their tests also

"I bid to the individuals of my state to be cautious, only a little recklessness welcomes the coronavirus. I bent over backward to maintain a strategic distance from the infection however individuals used to meet me regarding numerous matters," Mr. Chouhan included.

Close contacts of the Chief Minister, who was to hold a gathering at 11.30 AM, have been isolated. In his nonattendance, Mr. Chouhan composed, Home Minister Narottam Mishra, Health Minister Vishvas Sarang, and others will lead the gathering.

Mr. Mishra, among those to have had close contact with the Chief Minister, will likewise be tried for the infection.

Updates on Mr. Chouhan testing positive comes two days after a priest in his bureau, Arvind Singh Bhadoria, said he was tainted. Mr. Bhadoria was among the priests at Wednesday's Bureau meeting, which was led by the Chief Minister.

In the interim, the Chief Minister consoled supporters that there was no compelling reason to freeze and that despite his ailment he would keep on driving endeavors to contain the infection in his state.

"No compelling reason to freeze, If coronavirus is treated in time, it is reparable," he said. including, "I have been checking on the status of coronavirus diseases each night since March 25. I will attempt to audit this using video conferencing however much as could be expected at this point".

Previous Chief Minister Kamal Nath tweeted: "I petition God for his (Mr. Chouhan's) fast recuperation".

Another previous Chief Minister, Uma Bharti, said she was appealing to God for the recuperation of both Mr. Chouhan and Mr. Bhadoria. "I supplicate they recover soon. All be well. May this infection leave our planet," she said.

Mr. Chouhan and Mr. Bhadoria had gone to the memorial service of the late Madhya Pradesh Governor Lalji Tandon, who passed on at an emergency clinic in Uttar Pradesh's Lucknow on July 21.

Madhya Pradesh has recorded more than 26,000 COVID-19 cases up until this point, including 791 passings connected to the infection. The quantity of dynamic cases in the state is more than 7,500.

Across India, the quantity of coronavirus cases has crossed 13.36 lakh, with more than 4.56 lakh dynamic cases and 31,358 passings connected to the infection.
