In Assam,  the recovery rate of Covid 19 has reached around 91 percent. Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in a tweet informed that 204 positive cases were reported during the last 24 hours. A total of 8 thousand 753 tests are conducted in that period and the positivity rate is 2 point 33 percent.

Nearly 3000 persons have recovered in the last 24 hours and there are 17 thousand 510 active cases in the state.  Meanwhile, the immersion of Durga idols have begun in the state following all Covid protocols
