Eligible businesses will have to apply online for the refund, which is calculated against fixed rental costs, state news agency reported

Anu Dhabi showed a big heart towards the worst affected business in the country i.e Hotel. Usually, the hotels have a leasing contract and Abu Dhabi has declared a 20% discount on yearly business property leases for cafés and the travel industry and amusement offices, state news office WAM wrote about Monday.

Qualified organizations should apply online for the discount, which is determined against fixed rental expenses, WAM announced, referring to the emirate's division of monetary turn of events. This has given a huge relief to the hoteliers whose livelihood is on the hotel's income.

The report didn't state who might bear the expense of the discount or whether the legislature would repay proprietors.

The discount plot is planned for facilitating pressure on organizations influenced by government measures to contain the spread of the new coronavirus, WAM said.

The United Arab Emirates a month ago started facilitating limitations on organizations, permitting malls and eateries to revive under the constrained limit.

Lodgings are barred from the discount plot.
