The virus was found on the outer packaging of frozen seafood bought by three companies in Yantai, a port city in eastern Shandong province.

Experts in China have discovered the novel coronavirus on the bundling of imported solidified fish that showed up from the port city of Dalian, which as of late combat a flood of cases, a nearby government said on Tuesday.

The infection was found on the external bundling of solidified fish purchased by three organizations in Yantai, a port city in eastern Shandong territory.

The Yantai regional government said in an announcement the fish was from an imported shipment that arrived at Dalian yet didn't state where it started.

In July, customs officials in Dalian, a significant port in the northeastern area of Liaoning, found the coronavirus in the bundling of solidified shrimps imported from Ecuador, and China at that point suspended imports from three Ecuadorean shrimp makers.

The epic coronavirus is accepted to have risen in a market that sold fish and natural life in the focal Chinese city of Wuhan before the end of last year.

It has since spread far and wide, with some new cases brought once again into China from bringing travelers back.

A portion of the fish that the three Yantai organizations purchased had been prepared for trade, while the rest had been kept in chilly stockpiling and has not entered the market, the Yantai government said.

When inquired as to whether any of the prepared fish had been traded, an individual from the staff at a coronavirus episode reaction unit in Yantai declined to expound, alluding Reuters to the Yantai regional government proclamation.

Specialists had fixed off the merchandise, the regional government said. Every individual who took care of the merchandise was under isolate and have tried negative for the coronavirus, it said.

The most recent episode of coronavirus in Dalian city began in late July, with the main case working at a fish handling organization. By Aug. 9, Dalian has announced an aggregate of 92 cases.
