Bihar government fulfils the poll promise of free vaccination

In Bihar, free covid vaccination will be given to people of the state. This decision was taken at a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

In Bihar, 500 new coronavirus patients were identified on Sunday and five of them died during treatment. With this, the number of Coronavirus infected increased to 2,43,248 and the number of dead to 1321 in the state. There are currently 5189 active patients of Coronavirus in the state who are being treated.

177 infected in Patna
According to the Health Department, the highest number of 177 new corona infections were identified in Patna. More than 10 corona-infected patients were identified in 14 districts including Patna in the state, while the remaining 24 districts found fewer than 10 corona-infected patients.


548 infected have recovered in the last 24 hours
In the last 24 hours, 548 corona-infected patients recovered after treatment in the state. So far 2,36,737 infected people in the state have recovered after treatment. The recovery rate of corona infectives in the state was 97.32 percent.

1.20 lakh sample check
In the last 24 hours, corona examination of 1 lakh 20 thousand 503 samples was conducted. So far, Corona investigation of 1 crore 62 lakh 74 thousand 624 samples has been done in the state.
