International Coffee Day is celebrated in honor of the people who work from growing coffee to reaching coffee lovers. Coffee is everyone's favorite all over the world. In such a situation, on the occasion of this special day, today we will tell you what are the advantages and disadvantages of drinking coffee.

Benefits of coffee:

Increase in physical capacity: If you drink 1 cup of black coffee before working out, then you are able to do an 11-12% better workout. The caffeine in coffee stimulates an adrenaline rush in your blood. This hormone called adrenaline in your body helps in fighting stress and fatigue by giving energy 

Coffee keeps you focused and alert: If you drink 1 to 6 cups of coffee in a day, then it helps you to focus on some work and your mind also remains alert.

Coffee lowers the risk of cancer: One study found that drinking coffee in men reduced the chances of developing prostate cancer by 20%. At the same time, there is a 25% drop in the chances of developing endometrial cancer in women.

Coffee reduces the chances of stroke: Consuming 2 to 4 cups of coffee a day reduces the risk of stroke. Coffee is rich in antioxidants which fight against the radicals present in the body.

Protects the brain: When the caffeine present in coffee goes into your blood, which reduces the chances of getting Alzheimer's disease. Not only this, caffeine also reduces the chances of getting dementia.

Does not cause type 2 diabetes: Caffeine present in coffee reduces sugar levels. Along with this, it reduces glucose tolerance, which reduces the chances of getting type 2 diabetes.

Disadvantages of Coffee:

Poor quality coffee can be toxic.  The underrated quality of coffee causes headaches, illness, and restlessness.  So buy good quality coffee and stay rest assured.

Coffee reduces insomnia and restlessness: Caffeine benefits, but also harms. If you are consuming 1 cup of coffee,  then you are consuming up to 100 mg of caffeine. If caffeine does not suit you, then be careful while consuming it. If you have more coffee, then you may complain of insomnia or restlessness.

Drink only limited coffee if you are pregnant. Research says that excess coffee during pregnancy should be avoided. One thing that is certain, if you drink coffee during pregnancy, the caffeine can pass on to your fetus. if you are addicted to drinking coffee, then try to take only one-two cup of coffee a day.
