7 Wrong habits that are unhealthy for you

Your overall health depends on your habit too. Wrong habits can affect your body and overall health. Here are habits that you need to quit right now

Sitting for a long time - spending an hour at the gym is of no use if you spend your day sitting at the desk. Excess fat around the waist, abnormal cholesterol level, obesity, blood pressure, high blood sugar - you’re inviting them all! Make sure you get up from your desk & take small walks throughout the day.

Wearing Skinny Jeans – They make you look good but can be really harmful to your legs. They can compress the nerves of thighs causing pain, tingling, numbness & can also cause cramps in the calf muscles.

Public Place Soap Dispensers – We want to keep our hands clean wherever we go but are we sure about the cleanliness of public soap dispensers? These dispensers might not have been cleaned for weeks & hence actually increase the risk of having deadly bacteria in them.

Smartphones – Most of us carry phones wherever we go, even to the washrooms. Hence, they become a platform for bacteria and viruses. So, use them cautiously & don’t pass them on to people whose cleanliness standards you are not sure about.

Bright Light – Bright is not always right! Prolonged exposure to bright fluorescent light can be bad for your health. It can cause headache, fatigue, stress, anxiety, cardiovascular disease & even erectile dysfunction.

Cosmetics & Makeup – Poor quality cosmetics can harm your skin permanently. It could also cause patches, pigmentation, uneven skin tone, redness & freckles. So, choose your brand carefully.

Wearing Contact Lenses for too long – Contact lenses make you look your real self but they might cause harm to your eyes if you wear them for a long time. As lenses prevent the eye tissues from receiving oxygen, it can cause pain & dryness as well as damage the corneas.

So be careful about these few things to live a healthier life!
