Central Railway in a statement said that, “It is move to spread the awareness message to sensitise Mumbaikars to prevent coronavirus infection".One rake of the Mumbai local train with awareness message has been put into service today.Central Railway zone has said that five more rakes of local trains will be put in to the operations with awareness message in the coming days.Central Railway decided also decided to cancel by the Central Railway (CR) included some popular trains originating from Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Bhusawal and Nagpur. The cancellation will come into effect from Wednesday.

The trains cancelled by the CR included Mumbai-Pune Deccan Express, Mumbai-Nagpur Nandigram Express, Mumbai-Pune Pragati Express, CSMT-Nizamuddin Rajdhani Express, LTT- Nizamabad Express and Bhusaval-Nagpur Express.
