Prior to the flare-up, CDC direction to specialists in the United States was that a patient needed to have a movement history to China or be a nearby contact of somebody who had been there before being tried, CDC Director Dr. Robert Redfield said. This patient is later transferred to another hospital for better checkups and later its quarantine.
