Goa faces dearth of essential commodities

A person from St Estevam with foreign travel history has tested positive for COVID-19.Earlier Goa Health Minister Vishwajit Rane. said the five patients, who have tested positive for coronavirus in Goa, and currently undergoing treatment at a hospital, are in a stable condition. 

Currently Goa is facing a shortage of essential items and emergency workers.State government said that all the fair price shops are to remain open and  a new initiative known as "Need on Wheels" will be supplying the daily essentials through Kadamba State Transport. Government has taken up sanitation drive at various public places, while all the state-run vehicles would be sanitised from April 2 to April 22.

 The state government has already started applying stickers on the homes of those who are 'home quarantined among other measures
