Gujarat recorded 1,125 new COVID-19 cases during the last 24 hours. The recovery rate has reached up to 91.28 percent.

Gujarat has recorded a total of one lakh 83 thousand 844 cases till now. Out of these, one lakh 67 thousand 820 patients recovered. In all, 1,352 patients recovered during the last 24 hours.
 

More than 66 lakh 25 thousand tests have been carried out in the state till date. Maximum 207 new cases were reported from Ahmedabad, while Surat recorded 184 new cases. At present, total active cases in the state are 12,245, out of which 74 patients are on the ventilator.

 
Six patients died yesterday taking the total deaths due to COVID-19 up to 3,779. 

Meanwhile, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation has lifted the ban in 27 busy areas of the city and allowed the shops to remain open till 12 midnight in view of the coming Diwali festival.
