Gujarat corona cases under control due to government efforts

Gujarat Government has spent 1000 crore rupees over the free treatment of Covid-19 patients in the state till now. Talking to media persons, Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel said that the state government has provided free treatment, free medicines and free injections to the Covid-19 patients in the state.

He said that the state government will ensure that the poor and middle-class people are vaccinated without any financial burden. AIR Ahmedabad correspondent reports that Gujarat has recorded 715 new cases of Covid-19 during the last 24 hours.

According to the state health department, the recovery rate further improved to 94.51 percent. The total number of Covid19 cases detected so far in Gujarat has reached up to 2,47,228. Out of these, 2,33,660 patients recovered. 938 patients recovered during the last 24 hours. More than 98,10000 tests have been carried out in the state till date.

Maximum 151 new cases reported from Ahmedabad, while Surat recorded 127 new cases. At present total active cases in the state are 9250, out of which 61 patients are on the ventilator. 4 patients died yesterday taking the total deaths due to Covid-19 up to 4318.
